My Approach

The practice of yoga is more than just the elaborate asanas (poses) you see online and in magazines. You don’t need to put your leg behind your head to get the full benefits of yoga.

In fact, you don’t even need to be on the mat to bring yoga into your life. Yoga is a state of being providing tools and techniques that you can use everyday to ground and balance yourself no matter what life throws your way.

Balanced body, balanced mind.

The ideal yoga practice is one that’s the right fit for you. My intention is to create a safe and comfortable place for you to explore meditation, alignment principles, creative asanas (postures), pranayama (breath work) and yogic philosophy. Together we will weave these elements into your own personal practice to help you tune into your inner landscape, while bringing balance and harmony into your state of being. As you start to discover your heart’s desires you will discover and develop a deeper understanding and connection with your mind and body.

Everybody needs a home.

At the Healthy Zen House, You can come home to your self – the dwelling that resides inside of you – and experience the countless benefits that yoga has to offer, both physically, mentally and spiritually. I offer a private studio for one on one sessions, duets (two person), or small groups. Through this hatha based alignment practice, you will learn to create joyful, fulfilling relationships with yourself and those around you. As you practice you will begin to move through your life more mindfully and will create positive changes allowing your life to be your yoga.
