Instructions

  • Organic Brussels Sprouts are from the same vegetable family as broccoli and kale, so that means they are super high in vitamin A and C, and they help prevent colon cancer.
  • In this recipe, Melanee used the pomegranate seeds are from her own backyard! Pomegranates are loaded with anti-oxidants, act as an anti-cancer food, and help fight against cell damage. They also prevent hardening of the arteries, working like an aspirin to keep blood platelets from sticking together.
  • And don’t forget the Organic Walnuts! They’re packed with omega 3 fatty acids that help lower the risk of heart disease, and are high in fiber and vitamins A and E. Plus, the magnesium found in the walnuts helps prevent osteoporosis.
  • Steam Brussels Sprouts for 5 minutes, or until tender
  • Drizzle Brussels Sprouts with olive oil, sea salt and pepper
  • Toss with organic walnuts and raw pomegranate seeds and serve!
